Fascinating piece. Great quotes, but not so sure that they are "groundbreaking", given the plethora of penmanship of great thinkers since pre-Socratic times.

I find the quote about Christianity intriguing:

"Christianity taught us to see the eye of the lord looking down upon us. Such forms of knowledge project an image of reality, at the expense of reality itself".

The God-Man — Jesus Christ — in His humanity neither taught nor looked down on anyone, not even His fiercest detractors. Furthermore, He was, and is the embodiment of reality itself, with no intention to tame, but to teach us the virtues of humility and inform us of the Truth of the Sovereignty of a Supreme Unseen, God.

Recall that great statement by the character Socrates in Plato's magnum opus, The Republic:

"The Good isn't Being, but is Beyond Being, exceeding it in Dignity and Power" (Republic 6, 509b 8-10).

This remains a central debate in philosophy for millennia and has had tremendous influence on great thinkers like St. Augustine.

Still, many thanks for sharing these three very worthy books.
