Very insightful and well constructed piece. I commend you Thomas, for taking up this demeaning term, "People of Color" and boldly calling it what it is. I have spoken and written about this issue several times.

On October 28, 2021 I published on this platform this article: Why The Phrase "People of Color Must be Expunged: Just Look at The 2021 Nobel Laureates".

Unfortunately, like other hot button issues that people would rather not discuss, the article got very few reads and little or no traction.

The tragedy of the willful acceptance of this phrase particularly in the African American community is the failure to appreciate the subconscious and psychological "Casting" of those who are not "White". The negative impact especially among the youths, in my view is incalculable.

Keep sounding the alarm Thomas. We will not be silenced.
